 Unfortunately I'm missing some of the documentation of the process due to a computer crash.

For characteristics I rolled: 4, 7, 6, 3, 8, 7
I assigned them thus: 

STR 4, DEX 7, END 6, INT 8, EDU 7, SOC 3

Background skills: Electronics-0, Mechanic-0, Streetwise-0 (blue collar family, vocational school).
Failed to get into university.
Became a worker.

First term event - specialist training, but I failed my roll. Failed to get a promotion.
Skills: Drive-0, Flyer-0, Melee-0, Profession-0, Steward-0

Second term event - business expand (DM+1 for one benefit roll). Got promotion.

Third term event:
Political upheaval strikes your homeworld, and you are caught up in the revolution. Gain either Advocate 1, Persuade 1, Explosives 1 or Streetwise 1. Roll whichever skill you chose 8+. If you succeed you come out on the winning side, and gain DM+2 to your next Advancement roll. Fail, and you suffer DM-2 to your next Survival roll.
Chose Explosives-1. Failed to get promotion with the DM+2 from the event.

Fourth term event - more political upheaval. Chose Advocate-1, failed my roll. Roll 12 on advancement.
Checked for aging: -1 to three physical characteristics.

Fifth term event - more specialist training (failed my roll). Another 12 on advancement.
Checked for aging: no effect.

Sixth term event - more specialist training (also failed). Failed to get promotion.
Checked for aging: no effect.
Decided to muster out.
